Cavo in fibra ottica LANBERG FO-SASA-SS21-0250-WH 25 m G.657.A2 SC–SC bianco

Fibre optic cable LANBERG FO-SASA-SS21-0250-WH is a 25 m single-mode (SM) indoor simplex cable with G.657.A2 fiber and 9/125 µm core/cladding. The cable is terminated with SC connectors on both ends (SC–SC) polished to APC standard, and features LSZH coating for reduced smoke and toxicity. It is suitable for telecom, data centre links and premises cabling where low bend sensitivity and stable optical performance are required.

Advantages

The cable offers low insertion loss (< 0.25 dB) and high return loss (> 60 dB) thanks to APC polishing and precise SC terminations. Its G.657.A2 fiber ensures improved bend performance and a small minimum bend radius (8 mm), while the LSZH jacket and 3.0 mm simplex construction make it appropriate for indoor installations and structured cabling.

Suitable for

• Telecommunications backbone and horizontal links
• Data centre interconnects
• Indoor premises cabling in offices and commercial buildings
• Environments requiring low-smoke, low-toxicity cable jackets

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC–SC (APC)
• Fiber type: G.657.A2, single-mode (SM), 9/125 µm
• Cable construction: Simplex, diameter 3.0 mm, LSZH
• Length: 25 m
• Insertion loss: < 0.25 dB
• Return loss: > 60 dB
• Operating temperature: -40 to 85 °C
• Minimum bend radius: 8 mm
• Color: White

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress, respecting the minimum bend radius of 8 mm. Connect SC APC connectors into compatible SC APC ports until a secure click is felt; ensure connector end-faces are clean before mating to maintain low insertion loss. Use appropriate cable management and strain relief in racks, patch panels or wall outlets for indoor installations.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, clean connector end-faces with approved fiber cleaning tools before each connection, avoid exceeding the specified operating temperature range, and secure the cable to prevent repeated tight bends or crush loads.
