Cavo in fibra ottica S/CONN ShiverPeaks 07-530315

The ShiverPeaks Fibre optic cable S/CONN ShiverPeaks 07-530315 is a 2 m OM5 multimode fibre patch cable with LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other, designed for full duplex communication and high-bandwidth data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM5 specification, the cable supports short-range, high-speed links used in data centres, server rooms and enterprise networks. The construction focuses on reliable signal integrity and compatibility with standard LC and SC ports.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable provides enhanced modal bandwidth for dense short-range applications and is suitable for wavelength-division multiplexing within the OM5 specification. The LC–SC connector pairing offers flexibility for integrating equipment with mixed connector types. With a 2 metre length and multimode 50 µm core, the cable simplifies rack-to-rack or patch panel connections while maintaining low insertion loss and consistent full duplex performance.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 2 m
• Connector types: LC (one end), SC (other end)
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Cable jacket: multimode patch cable construction suitable for indoor networking

How to use

Inspect both LC and SC connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and, if required, clean using appropriate fibre-cleaning tools. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges, maintaining bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Insert the LC connector and the SC connector into their respective ports until they click or lock into place, ensuring correct orientation for full duplex operation. Verify link status on network devices after connection and, if necessary, perform optical loss or continuity tests to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM5 cable in a dry, dust-free environment; avoid stretching or subjecting the cable to mechanical stress. Use this cable where short-reach, high-bandwidth multimode performance is required and ensure connectors are compatible with existing LC and SC ports.
