Cavo ottico attivo BlueOptics 25G SFP28 20m — compatibile con NVIDIA (980-9I536-00A020)

Active Optical Cable BlueOptics 25G SFP28 20m is a factory-terminated multimode AOC designed for 25GBASE-SR Ethernet and InfiniBand links using SFP28 interfaces. With a 20-meter length and plug-and-play SFP28 connectors, the cable provides a low-latency, single-cable solution for server-to-switch and switch-to-switch interconnects in dense rack and data center environments. The assembly integrates optical transceivers and a fiber ribbon in a compact, robust jacket to simplify cabling and reduce weight compared with copper alternatives.

Advantages

The cable offers consistent 25 Gbps throughput and low latency suitable for high-performance networking. Its factory-terminated construction ensures signal integrity and predictable optical performance without field splicing or transceiver installation. The slim profile and flexible jacket improve airflow and cable management in racks, while the all-in-one AOC design eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords.

How to use

Install the Active Optical Cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until it latches. No separate transceiver insertion or fiber termination is required. Ensure both ends are compatible with 25G SFP28 ports and that device firmware and link settings support 25GBASE-SR or InfiniBand operation. Route the cable following standard data center cable management practices to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain.

Recommendations

Maintain minimum bend radius and avoid tight kinks to preserve optical performance. Use the cable for short-reach, high-speed links within racks or between adjacent racks, and verify device compatibility lists for guaranteed interoperability. Handle connectors by the housing and keep dust caps in place until connection to prevent contamination.
