Cavo patch Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF 2 m magenta

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF 2m Magenta is a 2-metre network patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission. Constructed with high-quality inner conductors, foil-shielded twisted pairs (S/FTP PiMF) and robust sheathing, the cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The magenta colour helps identify or organise cabling in home or office networks.

Advantages

This CAT 6 patch cable provides stable signal transmission at high speeds thanks to its S/FTP PiMF shielding and precisely fitted RJ-45 plugs. Gold-plated contacts improve durability and connectivity, while the durable outer sheath reduces wear from handling and routing. The 2 m length offers flexibility for typical desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within home or small office networks
• Patch-panel and rack cabling in LAN setups
• High-speed data transmission for streaming, online gaming and file transfers
• Cable identification and colour-coded installations

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (foiled overall with individually shielded pairs), PiMF
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (PC, switch, router) and the other into the target port or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight ties that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. For installations in racks or cabinets, leave service loops to allow repositioning and maintenance.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its specified length and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. Verify compatibility with network equipment rated for Gigabit or higher speeds and replace damaged cables to maintain stable connections.
