Cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex BlueOptics B2P9-BO LC-UPC su LC-UPC multimodale OM4 50/125µm 0,5 m beige

Duplex LWL patch cable BlueOptics B2P9-BO is a short multimode fiber link with LC-UPC to LC-UPC connectors and OM4 50/125 µm core tailored for high-density LAN, data center and telecom patching. At 0.5 m length and with a beige outer jacket, the cable is intended for short-distance connections between switches, patch panels and active equipment where controlled insertion loss and reliable multimode performance are required. The product is supplied with a factory test report and uses branded fiber and ceramic ferrules to ensure stable optical contact.

Advantages

The cable features OM4 multimode fiber designed to support higher bandwidth over short distances compared with lower-grade multimode types, along with precisely polished LC-UPC connectors to minimize back reflection. Specified insertion loss below 0.2 dB provides predictable link budgeting for short links. The duplex construction simplifies transmit/receive pairing and the short 0.5 m length reduces excess slack in dense patching environments. A beige jacket offers neutral color coding in standard installations.

How to use

Route the duplex patch cable between corresponding LC ports, ensuring the correct orientation for TX and RX channels. Align and insert the LC connectors gently into the adapter or transceiver until they click into place. Avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent microbending loss. For optimal performance, verify endface cleanliness before connection using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and confirm link parameters against the supplied test report after installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the patch cable in dry, dust-free conditions; clean connectors before mating and avoid repeated unplugging that could wear the connector endfaces. Use this OM4 50/125 µm duplex cable for short-range multimode links where low insertion loss and compact LC-UPC connectors are required.
