InLine cavo duplex in fibra ottica SC/SC 50/125µm OM4 25m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM4 25m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable with SC connectors on both ends and a 50/125 µm core/cladding construction optimized for OM4 performance. Designed for full duplex communication, this 25-metre cable provides reliable signal transmission for structured cabling, data center interconnects and high-bandwidth links where controlled modal dispersion and low attenuation are required.

Advantages

This fiber optic duplex cable uses OM4 multimode glass to deliver higher bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. SC push-pull connectors provide secure mating and ease of installation in patch panels and network equipment. The duplex construction supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels, reducing installation complexity for two-way links. The 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry is compatible with standard multimode transceivers and supports short- to medium-range high-speed applications with controlled insertion loss.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and equipment interconnects
• Enterprise LAN backbone and horizontal cabling
• High-speed multimode links using OM4-compatible transceivers
• Optical patch panels and switch-to-switch connections

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC duplex on both ends
• Length: 25 m
• Polish type: typically UPC/APC depending on manufacturer standard (verify before installation)
• Performance: designed for reduced modal dispersion and improved bandwidth for short- to medium-range links
• Duplex configuration: supports separate transmit and receive fibers

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SC connector into the appropriate SC adapter or equipment socket until it clicks into place. Ensure correct polarity for transmit and receive channels so that TX on one end aligns with RX on the other. Route the cable along cable management pathways, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber. Do not apply tensile load beyond the cable's rated strength; secure with cable ties or Velcro straps without compressing the fiber jacket.

Recommendations

Before deployment, verify connector end-face cleanliness with an appropriate inspection tool and clean if necessary. Confirm compatibility of connected transceivers with OM4 multimode fiber and test links for insertion loss and continuity after installation. Store spare lengths in a coil with a gentle radius and protect connector end faces with dust caps when not in use.
