Cavo patch in fibra ottica Equip LC/ST OM3 5m 50µm full duplex

The Equip LC/ST Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM3 5m 50µm Full Duplex is a multimode fiber patch cord designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. With OM3 specification and a 50 µm core diameter, this 5-meter cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for common network installations requiring low insertion loss and consistent endface geometry.

Advantages

This fiber optic patch cable is manufactured from quality materials to provide stable insertion loss, good return loss and precise endface geometry. The LC to ST connector combination and OM3 grading ensure compatibility with multimode network equipment and help maintain signal integrity in short- to medium-distance links. The 5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and patch-panel connections.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server racks
• Patch panels and network switches
• Multimode fiber backbone and horizontal cabling
• Short- to medium-distance duplex connections (up to OM3 range)

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 255215
• EAN: 4015867166819
• Connector type: LC to ST (full duplex)
• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 5 m

How to use

Verify that both ends and ports are clean before connecting. Insert the LC connector into the LC port and the ST connector into the ST port until each connector is properly seated. For duplex operation, ensure transmit and receive channels are correctly aligned on each end. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors. If cleaning is required, use appropriate fiber cleaning tools and procedures.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC/ST patch cable for short- to medium-distance multimode links in structured cabling environments. Maintain bend radius guidelines (typically ≥10× cable diameter), keep connectors covered when not in use, and perform regular inspection and cleaning to preserve optical performance.
