Cavo patch in fibra ottica SC/SC Equip, OM3, 1,0 m

The Equip Fiber Optic Patch Cable SC/SC OM3 1.0m is designed for high-speed data transmission in fibre optic networks. It features SC connectors on both ends, an OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and supports full-duplex communication to deliver low insertion loss and consistent performance for networking applications.

Advantages

This SC/SC OM3 patch cable is manufactured from quality materials to ensure low insertion loss, good return loss and reliable endface geometry. The cable’s OM3 multimode construction provides higher bandwidth for short- to medium-range links, while the standardized SC connectors enable easy mating and stable connections in patch panels and active equipment.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and interconnects
• High-speed LAN and campus networks
• Server room fibre links and rack-to-rack connections
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre runs

How to use

Connect one SC connector to the fibre port on your patch panel, switch or transceiver and the other SC connector to the corresponding port on the receiving device. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to minimise signal loss. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it in cable management to avoid strain on the connectors and fibre.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, clean SC endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius, and use OM3 patch cords for links requiring higher modal bandwidth over short to medium distances.
