Custodia elettrica Rittal KX 1584.000, acciaio, IP66, 200×120×300 mm

Rittal KX 1584.000 is a compact steel electrical enclosure with IP66 protection and external dimensions of 200 × 120 × 300 mm. Designed for housing electrical components, wiring and small control devices, this enclosure provides dust-tight and protected-against-powerful-water-jets performance suitable for indoor and outdoor locations. The robust steel construction ensures mechanical stability while the IP66 rating secures protection against ingress of dust and water, making it appropriate for junctions, terminal blocks and compact control assemblies.

Advantages

The steel body offers impact resistance and long service life in demanding environments. IP66 sealing prevents dust and high-pressure water jets from entering the interior, ensuring reliable protection for installed components. Compact outer dimensions reduce required mounting space while providing sufficient internal volume for small assemblies. The enclosure is compatible with standard mounting accessories and allows straightforward installation of DIN rails, terminal blocks or small control modules.

How to use

Choose a suitable mounting location that provides access for wiring and maintenance. Open the enclosure, fit internal mounting rails or plates as required, and secure electrical components and terminal blocks using appropriate fixing hardware. Ensure cable entry points are sealed with compatible glands or conduit fittings to maintain the IP66 rating. Close the door and tighten fasteners to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations to preserve the sealing performance.

Recommendations

For long-term protection, avoid prolonged exposure to highly corrosive atmospheres without additional corrosion protection. Use cable glands and conduit systems rated for IP66 to maintain enclosure integrity. Verify internal ventilation or temperature management if heat-generating components are installed.
