DeLOCK cavo in fibra ottica LC duplex su SC duplex OM3 2m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to SC Duplex OM3 2m is a multimode fiber patch cable designed for full-duplex data transmission between networking devices. It has LC Duplex and SC Duplex terminations and uses OM3 multimode fiber suitable for high-speed links over short to medium distances. The cable length is 2 meters and it is intended for use in structured cabling, connections between switches, media converters and other network equipment.

Advantages

The cable features a metal armouring that offers increased protection against mechanical damage, moisture, dust and rodent intrusion while keeping the cable flexible and bendable. OM3 multimode fiber supports higher bandwidth for applications such as 10 Gbps Ethernet over appropriate distances, and the LC to SC duplex connector combination provides compatibility with equipment using these common interfaces.

How to use

Inspect both connectors and equipment ports for cleanliness before connecting. Align and insert the LC Duplex connector into the LC port and the SC Duplex connector into the SC port until they click or seat securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; the metal armouring provides protection but standard fiber bend radius guidelines should be observed. For removal, depress the connector latch (if present) and withdraw straight out to avoid damaging the ferrules.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC‑to‑SC duplex cable for short to medium multimode links within buildings or equipment racks, and combine it with compatible OM3 components to maintain link performance. Clean connectors with appropriate fiber cleaning tools when installing or reusing cables.
