Cavo InfiniBand/in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0314.3 3 m LC SC blu

The EFB Elektronik O0314.3 is a 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors designed for high-speed duplex data transmission. Manufactured by EFB Elektronik, a European provider of structured cabling and network infrastructure components, this cable features a 50 µm core diameter suitable for multimode applications and is intended for reliable connections in data networks and server environments.

Advantages

The cable provides full duplex communication and low signal loss over short to medium distances, with standardized LC and SC terminations for compatibility with common networking equipment. Its 3 m length offers convenient reach for rack-to-rack or cabinet-to-switch connections while maintaining signal integrity typical for 50 µm multimode fibre.

Suitable for

• Server room and data centre cross-connections
• InfiniBand and fibre optic network links
• Patch panels, switches and optical transceivers with LC or SC ports

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Connector types: LC to SC
• Core diameter: 50 µm (multimode)
• Transmission: Full duplex fibre optic
• Cable colour: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between required ports, aligning the LC connector to the LC socket and the SC connector to the SC socket until each latches or seats securely. Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before connection to minimise signal attenuation. Use appropriate cable management to avoid tight bends and strain on connectors; observe the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, clean connector endfaces with fibre-cleaning tools before installation and avoid repeated mating cycles. Use this 3 m LC–SC multimode fibre cable for short to medium distance links inside racks or cabinets rather than long-haul runs.
