Ekivalan OM3 Duplex cavo patch in fibra ottica SC/SC, 50/125 µm, aqua, 0,5 m COZOM3DCDC2SA0005A

Data centre technicians connecting short-reach 10G Ethernet links between switches and patch panels rely on this OM3 multimode duplex patch cable. The aqua jacket makes it easy to identify as high-bandwidth 50/125 µm fibre in crowded cable trays.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: SC to SC, duplex configuration
• Length: 0.5 m
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Insertion loss: ≤ 0.3 dB
• Return loss: ≥ 30 dB
• Wavelengths: 850 nm and 1300 nm
• Bandwidth: 1500 MHz·km at 850 nm, 500 MHz·km at 1300 nm
• Bend radius: 30 mm installation, 10 mm long-term

Why choose it

OM3 fibre supports 10G Ethernet up to 300 metres, making it ideal for short backbone and horizontal runs. The LSZH jacket emits low smoke and no halogen in case of fire, improving safety in enclosed spaces. SC connectors provide a reliable push-pull connection with low insertion loss.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to top-of-rack switches in data centres
• Linking fibre patch panels to network equipment
• Short-distance 10G links in enterprise LAN backbones

Good to know

This cable is compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and IEC 60793 standards. The duplex construction keeps transmit and receive fibres together for easy polarity management.
