Irix Cine 150mm T3.0 Macro PL-Mount obiettivo (imperial)

Where most telephoto cine lenses force a choice between reach and close focus, this 150mm macro optic delivers true 1:1 life-size reproduction at just 0.349 m (1.14 ft) while covering full-frame sensors—no dedicated macro swap required. The fast T3.0 aperture pairs with an 11-blade iris for creamy bokeh and precise exposure control, all inside a weather-sealed aluminum-magnesium barrel built for demanding sets.

Highlights

• 150mm focal length with full-frame (43.3mm) image circle coverage
• Fast T3.0 maximum aperture for shallow depth of field and low-light work
• 1:1 maximum magnification for true macro cinematography
• PL mount with 0.8 MOD gears on focus and iris for follow focus systems
• Weather-sealed construction with three rubber seals for outdoor reliability
• Imperial focus scale markings in feet for intuitive distance setting

In daily use

The lens’s 12-element, 9-group optical design delivers sharp, high-contrast images with minimal breathing, while the 11-blade diaphragm produces smooth, circular bokeh. The focus ring rotates a full 270°, allowing fine adjustments even at macro distances where depth of field is razor-thin. The iris ring offers a 75° rotation with clickless operation, enabling silent aperture changes during takes. The aluminum-magnesium housing keeps weight manageable without sacrificing durability, and the 86mm filter thread accepts standard screw-in filters or a matte box via the 95mm front diameter.
