Obiettivi fotocamera Canon grandangolare RF 28 mm F2.8 STM, nero

Canon RF 28mm F2.8 STM is a compact wide-angle lens for Canon RF‑mount mirrorless cameras. It offers a lightweight, discreet design with high image quality, a 28mm focal length and bright f/2.8 maximum aperture for low‑light shooting and controllable background blur. The lens construction consists of 8 elements in 6 groups with three PMo special elements and Super Spectra coatings to reduce flare and ghosting. It includes a combined control/focus ring, an AF/Control/MF switch and uses an STM motor for smooth, fast and quiet autofocus.

Advantages

The lens is small and lightweight, making it convenient for travel and everyday use while preserving optical performance. Fast f/2.8 aperture enables shooting in low light and achieving shallow depth of field. STM autofocus provides smooth and quiet focusing for stills and video. Super Spectra coatings and special optical elements minimise flare and ghosting for clearer images.

Suitable for

• Street and travel photography
• Environmental portraits and group shots
• Everyday snapshots and documentary work
• Video recording with smooth autofocus

How to use

Attach the Canon RF 28mm F2.8 STM to a compatible Canon RF‑mount mirrorless camera and secure the bayonet. Use the combined control/focus ring for quick adjustments to exposure-related settings or to perform manual focus. Switch between AF and MF or enable the control ring function via the AF/Control/MF switch according to shooting needs. For low‑light scenes open to f/2.8; stop down toward f/11–f/22 to increase depth of field. Focus at the minimum distance of 0.23 m when shooting close subjects to maximize framing.

Recommendations

For best results, use a clean 55 mm filter when needed, keep the lens coatings free of smudges, and use the STM autofocus for quiet video capture. Note that the lens has no optical image stabilizer, so use a fast shutter speed or a stabilized camera body for handheld low‑light shooting.
