METZ CONNECT 150N1JO0020E cavo patch in fibra ottica OM4 multimodale, 12x LC Duplex, 2 m, nucleo 50 µm, multicolore

Data center technicians and network engineers often need reliable, high-density fiber connections in tight spaces. The METZ CONNECT 150N1JO0020E delivers exactly that: a 2-meter OM4 multimode patch cable with 12 LC duplex connectors on one end, ready for high-speed links up to 100 Gbps. Its 50 µm core and laser-optimized OM4 fiber ensure low loss and high bandwidth, making it ideal for backbone cabling, server-to-switch connections, and storage area networks.

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Connector 1: 12x LC duplex (male)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Cable colour: Multicolour set
• Connector gender: Male

Why choose it

This patch cable is built for performance and durability. OM4 fiber supports 10G, 40G, and 100G Ethernet over longer distances than OM3, making it future-proof for evolving network demands. The 12 LC connectors allow high port density in patch panels and switches, while the multicolour jacket simplifies identification and organization in complex installations. METZ CONNECT's precision manufacturing ensures consistent optical performance and reliable connections.

Ideal use cases

• Data center interconnects between switches, servers, and storage
• High-density fiber patching in 19" racks
• Enterprise backbone cabling requiring OM4 performance
• Fibre Channel SAN environments
• Telecommunications rooms and campus networks

Good to know

OM4 multimode fiber is backward-compatible with OM3 and OM2 systems, but for optimal performance, pair with OM4 components. The cable is pre-terminated and tested, so no field polishing or splicing is required. Each LC connector features a duplex clip for easy insertion and removal. The 2-meter length is suitable for intra-rack connections and short patch runs. Always inspect and clean connectors before installation to maintain signal integrity.
