NETGEAR Nighthawk RS300 router Wi-Fi Gigabit Ethernet tri-band (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz / 6 GHz) nero

The RS300 portable router delivers a balance of speed, reliability, and affordability. It supports Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) tri‑band connectivity across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, with combined data rates up to 9.3 Gbps, enabling low‑latency gaming, smooth streaming, and stable video conferencing in compact form factor.

Advantages

The device offers tri‑band Wi‑Fi 7 performance in a portable black housing, five Gigabit Ethernet LAN (RJ‑45) ports for wired devices and a USB port for storage or accessory connection. Its compact design makes it suitable for home, small office, or travel use while maintaining high throughput and reliable connections.

Key specifications

• Model: RS300 portable router (black)
• Wireless: Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be), tri‑band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz / 6 GHz
• Maximum data rate: up to 9300 Mbit/s (9.3 Gbps)
• Ethernet: Gigabit Ethernet
• LAN ports: 5 × RJ‑45
• USB: USB port for storage or peripherals

How to use

Place the RS300 in a central location for best wireless coverage, connect the WAN source to the router and power it on. Use the router’s web interface or mobile app to complete initial setup: configure SSIDs, security (WPA3 if available), and network preferences. For optimal performance, place high‑bandwidth devices on the 6 GHz band and use wired Gigabit Ethernet ports for stationary devices that require stable low‑latency connections.

Recommendations

For consistent high throughput, connect devices that support Wi‑Fi 7 to the 6 GHz band and update the router firmware regularly. Use the Gigabit Ethernet ports for gaming consoles, NAS, or desktop PCs when low latency and maximum stability are required.
