Obiettivo cinema Irix Cine 65mm T1.5 Sony E-Mount (metrico)

Purpose-built for narrative filmmaking, the Irix Cine 65mm T1.5 for Sony E-mount delivers a natural perspective with exceptional low-light capability. Unlike adapted still lenses, it features geared focus and iris rings, a 180° focus rotation, and a weather-sealed magnesium-aluminum body for demanding production environments.

Highlights

• Fast T1.5 maximum aperture for shallow depth of field and low-light shooting
• Full-frame coverage (43.3mm image circle) with 11-blade rounded iris for smooth bokeh
• Geared 0.8 MOD focus and iris rings for follow focus systems
• Weather-sealed construction with 3 rubber seals for reliable outdoor use
• 86mm filter thread and 95mm front diameter for matte boxes and accessories
• Metric focus scale with 180° rotation for precise manual focusing

In daily use

On set, the 65mm focal length offers a flattering perspective for close-ups and medium shots, while the T1.5 aperture allows shooting in challenging light without excessive gain. The long 180° focus throw enables fine focus pulls, and the 75° iris rotation provides smooth exposure adjustments. The lens is compact yet durable, balancing well on gimbals and handheld rigs.
