Obiettivo metrico Irix Cine 65mm T1.5 Canon EF

The Irix Cine 65mm T1.5 stands apart from adapted still lenses with its true cine construction: dual 0.8 MOD geared rings, a 180° focus throw, and a metric scale are built in from the start. This 65mm prime covers full-frame sensors with a 43.3 mm image circle and opens to T1.5, giving you exceptional low-light capability and shallow depth of field without the compromises of photo lenses pressed into video duty.

Highlights

• Fast T1.5 aperture for low-light performance and shallow depth of field
• Full-frame coverage with 43.3 mm image circle
• 11-blade rounded iris for smooth, organic bokeh
• Dual 0.8 MOD geared rings for follow focus and iris control
• Metric focus scale with 180° rotation for precise pulls
• Weather-sealed with 4 seals to protect against dust and moisture
• 86 mm filter thread and 95 mm front diameter for matte box compatibility
• Minimized breathing, distortion, and chromatic aberration

In daily use

On set, the 65mm focal length offers a natural perspective ideal for medium shots and portraits, while the T1.5 speed allows shooting in challenging light without excessive gain. The long focus throw and clear metric markings enable accurate, repeatable focus pulls, and the consistent gear positions across the Irix Cine lineup simplify lens swaps. The robust, weather-sealed housing withstands demanding environments, and the low breathing ensures framing stability during focus transitions.
