Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0350.1 1 m LC giallo

The EFB Elektronik O0350.1 1 m LC Yellow is a single-mode OS2 fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 9 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex data transmission, this 1 metre cable provides low-loss single-mode connectivity suitable for short interconnects within rack systems, patch panels and network equipment. The yellow jacket follows standard colour coding for single-mode fibres to ease identification during installation and maintenance.

Advantages

This 1 m LC–LC OS2 cable offers consistent single-mode performance with low attenuation and stable full duplex operation. The LC connectors provide a compact form factor that saves port space in dense patch panels. The standard yellow PVC/LSZH (colour coding shown) outer jacket improves visual identification and simplifies cable management. Constructed for typical networking environments, the cable balances flexibility and mechanical durability for repeated handling.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Telecommunications equipment interconnects requiring single-mode OS2 fibre
• Server room and rack-to-rack short-distance single-mode links
• Laboratory or test bench setups where 1 m length is required

How to use

Connect the LC connectors to matching LC ports on network equipment, transceivers or patch panels, observing proper alignment of the connector latches. Ensure both ends are clean before mating to reduce insertion loss and back reflection; use fibre cleaning tools if needed. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends (maintain minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor) and secure it with cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors. For testing, verify end-to-end continuity and attenuation using an appropriate fibre tester or light source and power meter.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the recommended bend radius and avoid excessive tensile force when installing. Keep connector end-faces free from dust and contaminants; clean before each connection. Store unused cables coiled loosely to prevent microbending.
