Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0361.10 10 m LC ST giallo

The EFB Elektronik O0361.10 is a 10 m single-mode fibre optic cable designed for high-performance networking and telecommunications. It uses an OS2 optical fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and terminates in LC and ST connectors. The cable supports full duplex communication and is intended for point-to-point links in data centers, network rooms, and other structured cabling installations where low attenuation and stable signal transmission are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low-loss single-mode transmission suitable for long-distance and high-speed links. The combination of LC and ST connectors enables compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and network equipment. Its 10 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and patching applications while the OS2 fibre type ensures reduced dispersion and improved performance in single-mode systems.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network equipment in data centers and server rooms
• Patching between switches, routers, and optical transceivers
• Telecommunications lines and telecom closets
• Structured cabling where single-mode performance is required

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Length: 10 m
• Connector A: LC (single-mode)
• Connector B: ST (single-mode)
• Transmission mode: full duplex
• Jacket color: yellow

How to use

Route the cable along appropriate cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and tight radii to prevent increased attenuation. Insert the LC connector into the matching LC port and the ST connector into the compatible ST socket; ensure connectors are clean before mating to maintain signal quality. Secure the cable with cable ties or management clips at regular intervals and test the link with an optical power meter or test set to verify insertion loss and continuity.

Recommendations

Maintain connector cleanliness by using dust caps when the cable is not connected and clean ferrules with proper fibre cleaning tools before installation. Observe minimum bend radius specified for single-mode cables and avoid tensile stress during routing. For critical links, measure end-to-end loss after installation and document results for future maintenance.
