Salewa Wildfire Leather 2 GTX Scarpe da escursionismo e avvicinamento uomo Faded Green/Black EU 41

Where most approach shoes compromise on either scrambling precision or hiking comfort, the Salewa Wildfire Leather 2 GTX fuses both into one rugged package. Built on a precise last with an 11 mm drop and a climbing zone at the toe, it moves confidently from forest trails to rocky via ferrata. The POMOCA Speed MTN II outsole grips on wet slabs and loose scree, while the full rubber rand and suede leather upper shrug off abrasion. A PFC-free GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps your feet dry without overheating, making this a true all-weather workhorse for technical terrain.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX Extended Comfort waterproof-breathable lining, PFC-free
• POMOCA Speed MTN II outsole with dedicated climbing zone
• Salewa 3F System for secure heel-to-ankle fit and flexibility
• 1.4 mm suede leather upper with stretch fabric and full protective rand
• Ortholite footbed and EVA midsole for all-day cushioning
• Climbing lacing extends to the toe for precision adjustments

In daily use

On approach hikes, the Wildfire Leather 2 GTX feels stable and supportive, with a heel stack of 30 mm and toe stack of 19 mm that absorbs impact on hardpack. The 3F System connects the instep, sole, and heel, so the shoe moves with your foot rather than against it. When the route steepens, the climbing zone and toe lacing let you edge on small holds and smear confidently. The suede upper is reinforced with a rubber rand that protects against rock scrapes, while the stretch fabric at the collar adds comfort during long descents.
