Telegärtner Cavo patch crossover Cat 5e, RJ-45 maschio a RJ-45 maschio, 5 m, grigio, UTP, 100 MHz L00003A0067

Direct device-to-device networking without a switch or hub is exactly what this Telegärtner crossover cable enables. Unlike standard straight-through patch leads, the internal wire mapping is crossed (T568A to T568B), so two PCs, two switches, or similar equipment can communicate immediately. The 5-metre length is ideal for connecting adjacent workstations or lab equipment, while the stranded copper conductors keep the cable flexible enough for tight routing.

Highlights

• Category 5e performance: supports Fast Ethernet up to 100 Mbps and bandwidth up to 100 MHz.
• Crossover wiring: T568A to T568B pinout for direct connection of two similar devices.
• Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction: lightweight and easy to install in office environments.
• Durable grey PVC jacket: resists everyday wear and keeps the cable identifiable.
• RoHS compliant: meets environmental standards for restricted substances.

In daily use

When you need a quick temporary link between two computers for data transfer, or you're setting up a test bench with network equipment, this cable removes the need for an extra switch. The RJ-45 connectors are moulded and strain-relieved, so repeated plugging and unplugging won't damage the terminations. The stranded copper conductors allow the cable to be bent around corners without breaking, and the grey jacket blends into most office setups. With a temperature range from -20°C to 60°C, it works reliably in normal indoor environments.
