BlueOptics SFP3131BU1MS cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 1 m LC giallo

BlueOptics SFP3131BU1MS is a 1 meter duplex single-mode fiber optic patch cord with LC/UPC to LC/APC (8° angled polish) connectors and laser-optimized G.657.A1 single-mode fiber (9/125 µm). The cable is yellow and intended for high-speed data links such as InfiniBand connections, patch panel ports and optical transceiver interconnects. The jacket is flame-retardant LSZH, reducing smoke and avoiding halogen release in case of fire.

Advantages

The patch cord provides low attenuation (typical 0.4 dB/km), low insertion loss and high return loss. It uses branded fibers from manufacturers such as Corning, Fujikura or YOFC and factory-installed connectors with zirconia ceramic ferrules from reputable makers, ensuring mechanical reliability and up to 1500 mating cycles. Each cable is inspected and tested with interferometry and OTDR; a measurement report for insertion loss and return loss is supplied with every unit. The assembly meets Telcordia GR-326-Core requirements and common industry safety and material standards.

How to use

Connect the LC/UPC end to the source transceiver or port and the LC/APC end to the destination transceiver or port, ensuring correct duplex orientation. Handle connectors by the housing to avoid contaminating ferrules; clean end-faces before mating using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and avoid exceeding the specified bend radius. Use the supplied test report to verify insertion loss and return loss values during installation. For custom lengths or different connector configurations, request factory options.
