Cavo di rete ROLINE 21.15.1861 Cat8.1 giallo 1m

The ROLINE 21.15.1861 Cat8.1 Yellow 1m is a high-performance 1 meter Ethernet patch cable designed for demanding network environments. Built to Cat8.1 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable supports high data throughput and maintains signal integrity across short-distance backbone and patching applications. The bright yellow jacket improves cable identification in dense installations while the compact 1 m length is suitable for patch panels, switches and closely spaced equipment.

Advantages

Cat8.1 construction with S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, enabling stable high-speed transfers. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for consistent performance. With support for 40GBase-T cabling technology and rated for up to 5000 Mbit/s, the cable meets the needs of modern data center and professional network setups. The flexible jacket and precise connector molding make routing and insertion straightforward in confined racks and enclosures.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches and patch panels in data centers
• High-speed workstation connections requiring short cable runs
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch short links within racks
• Environments where clear cable identification is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 40GBase-T compatible
• Maximum data rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually shielded pairs with overall foil)
• Product colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.095 kg

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 connector to the network device port and the other connector to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain bend radius recommended for Cat8-class cables to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality. For permanent installations, route the cable using cable management accessories to prevent strain and interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable for short, high-speed links where maximum shielding and minimal crosstalk are required. Keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Cat8 applications and separate power lines or strong electromagnetic sources to maintain optimal performance.
