Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics EFE350-0010M-AQ-R-BO LC LC/UPC OM3 10 m aqua

The BlueOptics EFE350-0010M-AQ-R-BO LC to LC OM3 10 m aqua fibre optic cable is a multimode patch cable designed for reliable short-range data transmission. Built to OM3 specifications with a 50 µm core diameter and LC/UPC connectors on both ends, this 10-metre cable supports high-bandwidth applications and low attenuation. The aqua jacket and standardized connector type make it suitable for structured cabling in data centers and network equipment that require InfiniBand-compatible multimode links.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable provides predictable optical performance for multimode links and is optimized for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and InfiniBand applications. LC/UPC terminations offer low return loss and consistent mating with LC ports. The 10 m length balances reach and manageability in rack and cabinet environments, while the 50 µm core supports multimode transceivers and active equipment designed for OM3. The aqua jacket color follows common identification practices for OM3 multimode cables.

How to use

Route the cable along cable management paths or within patch panels to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Ensure both LC connectors are clean and properly aligned with the corresponding LC ports before insertion; use a dust cap or cleaning tool if needed. Insert the LC connectors until they latch, verifying a secure connection on both ends. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and withdraw the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Maintain bend radii recommended for multimode fibre (avoid bends tighter than the cable's specified minimum) and keep connectors capped when not in use. Use appropriate fibre cleaning supplies to prevent signal loss from contamination. For optimal performance in 10 GbE and InfiniBand networks, pair this OM3 cable with compatible OM3 transceivers and ensure proper channel design including connector and patch panel losses.
