Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics SFP3131GU30MK LC OM5 30 m verde

The BlueOptics SFP3131GU30MK LC OM5 30 m Green fibre optic cable is a multimode OM5 patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. It has LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter, supporting applications where low latency and reliable signal integrity are required. The cable’s green jacket visually distinguishes OM5 multimode fibres and helps with organized cabling in data centers and network racks.

Advantages

This LC OM5 fibre cable delivers stable multimode performance with a 50 µm core optimized for modern data links, including InfiniBand environments. The factory-terminated LC connectors ensure consistent insertion loss and easy plug-and-play installation. With a 30 m length, the cable provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or room-to-room connections while maintaining signal quality. The coloured jacket simplifies identification and management in complex cable assemblies.

How to use

Prepare the devices by ensuring both endpoints have compatible LC ports and supporting multimode OM5 fibre. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment or cable manufacturer. Insert the LC connectors into the appropriate ports until they click, verifying secure seating. For duplex connections ensure correct orientation of transmit and receive channels. When disconnecting, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre connectors with clean hands and, if available, use fibre connector caps when not in use. Keep connector end-faces free of dust and contaminants; clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before insertion. For best performance in InfiniBand and other high-speed links, check connector insertion loss and run link tests after installation. Avoid routing close to high-power electrical cables to minimise potential interference in installations where separation guidelines apply.
