Cavo in fibra ottica Garbot B-01-50350 OM3 50/125, multimodale, nucleo 50 µm / guaina 125 µm

Garbot FO Cable B-01-50350 is an OM3 multimode optical fiber cable with a 50/125 µm core/cladding profile, designed for high-speed short to medium-range data transmission. The cable comes with LC/LC-PC connectors, aqua jacket color and a 5.0 m length, making it suitable for structured cabling in data centers, LAN backbones and enterprise networks where reliable multimode links are required.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode specification supports 10 Gb/s and higher over multimode links and provides improved bandwidth and modal dispersion performance compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. LC/LC-PC terminations offer compact, widely compatible connectors for high-density panel and switch ports. The 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry is a standard for multimode installations and the 5.0 m length covers common rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and short-run trunking
• Enterprise LAN backbones and server-to-switch connections
• High-speed multimode links supporting 10 Gb/s and above
• Structured cabling within telecom rooms and equipment racks

How to use

Install the Garbot OM3 cable by inserting the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or switches, ensuring the connector keys align and the ferrule endfaces are clean. Route the cable through cable management guides or trays to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fiber. Verify link operation with appropriate test equipment or by checking network link/activity indicators after installation.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor structured cabling and short- to medium-distance multimode links. Keep endfaces protected with dust caps until final connection, avoid tight bends and physical strain, and use cleaning tools for connector endface maintenance to preserve signal integrity.
