Cavo in fibra ottica Garbot FO Kabel OM3 50/125 B-01-10010, multimodale OM3 50/125 µm

Garbot FO Cable OM3 50/125 (B-01-10010) is a multimode optical fiber cable with a 50/125 µm core/cladding ratio manufactured to OM3 performance guidelines. It is designed for high-speed, short-range data transmission within local area networks, data centers and backbone segments. The cable is laser-optimized for 10 Gb/s and higher multimode links and is intended for equipment interconnects, patching and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The OM3 design provides improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM grades, enabling reliable short-range 10 Gb/s transmission and compatibility with laser-based transceivers. The multimode 50/125 µm geometry simplifies termination and patching in standard multimode installations and supports common data center cabling topologies. Compact construction and consistent optical performance help maintain signal integrity across patch panels and short backbone runs.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and server-to-switch links
• LAN backbone and short-distance horizontal cabling
• Patching between active equipment and distribution frames
• Structured cabling installations in commercial and enterprise environments

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM classification: OM3 (laser-optimized multimode)
• Application: Short-range high-speed data transmission (10 Gb/s and higher over limited distances)

How to use

Install the Garbot FO Cable OM3 50/125 by routing it through cable trays, conduits or ladder racks following site cabling standards and bend-radius limits recommended for multimode fiber. Terminate the cable ends with compatible multimode connectors and verify continuity and insertion loss with appropriate fiber test equipment. Use this cable for patching between switches, servers and patch panels, and for short backbone links where OM3 performance is required.

Recommendations

Observe manufacturer and industry guidelines for minimum bend radius, connector cleanliness and handling to preserve optical performance. Test each link after installation with certified optical test equipment to confirm insertion loss and link budget meet system requirements.
