Cavo in fibra ottica LOGON AL5LCSC10I/4I, OM4, 10 m, 2x LC su 2x SC, nucleo 50 µm, rosa

LOGON AL5LCSC10I/4I is a 10 m OM4 multimode fibre optic cable with duplex 2x LC connectors on one end and 2x SC connectors on the other. The cable uses 50 µm core multimode fibres designed for high-speed short-reach links, data centre patching and server interconnects. A pink colour-coded jacket simplifies identification in dense cabling environments and helps separate specific links such as InfiniBand or fibre-channel lanes.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode construction provides improved bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling reliable transmission for short to medium distances. Duplex LC to SC connectorisation offers compatibility with a wide range of network equipment and patch panels, while the 50 µm core size supports common multimode transceivers. The pink jacket improves cable management and reduces the chance of accidental disconnection or mispatching in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Server interconnects and switch uplinks
• Short-reach aggregation and distribution links
• InfiniBand and fibre-channel lane identification

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 10 m
• Connector A: duplex 2x LC (male)
• Connector B: 2x SC (male)
• Jacket colour: pink

How to use

Before installation, inspect connector end-faces for cleanliness and clean them if necessary using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Route the cable through cable management channels or trays without sharp bends and observe the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Plug the duplex LC end into the LC-compatible transceiver or patch panel ports and insert the SC connectors into SC ports or adaptors. Secure excess cable length with Velcro straps or cable ties that do not compress the cable jacket.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, maintain clean connectors and avoid exceeding the cable's minimum bend radius. Use the pink jacket as part of a labelling scheme to separate InfiniBand or specific VLAN/zone links, and replace damaged connectors or cables to prevent signal degradation.
