Cavo in fibra ottica ROLINE 21.15.8606 LC LC/APC OS2 15 m bianco

ROLINE LSOH fibre optic patch cable, model 21.15.8606, is a 15 m single-mode cable in OS2 quality with LC connectors on both ends. The cable has a 9 µm core diameter and a white outer jacket. It is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in network installations and InfiniBand applications.

Advantages

The single-mode OS2 fibre provides low attenuation and long-distance transmission capability. LC connectors on both ends ensure compact, industry-standard connections. The LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire and suits installations where material safety is required. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting equipment across racks or rooms.

Suitable for

• Data centre links and rack-to-rack connections
• High-speed network backbones and enterprise LANs
• InfiniBand and other high-performance computing interconnects
• Long-distance optical runs within buildings

How to use

Connect the LC connectors to compatible LC/APC ports on your networking equipment, transceivers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal loss. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable management to avoid stress on the fiber. Verify link status and optical power levels after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use in environments that require single-mode OS2 fibre; avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, and perform connector cleaning and inspection before each connection. For long-term installations, label both ends and document link endpoints.
