Cavo patch BlueOptics GPC1OK5 MPO-MPO multimodale OM4 7,5 m blu

The BlueOptics GPC1OK5 MPO-MPO Multimode OM4 7.5m Blue patch cable is a factory-terminated multimode fiber link with MPO connectors at both ends and an OM4 graded-index multimode fiber core. At 7.5 meters length and finished in blue jacketing, the cable is intended for short-range, high-bandwidth connections in structured cabling environments where multiple-fiber MPO terminations are used. The MPO-MPO termination enables parallel fiber transmission and straightforward integration with MPO trunk cables, cassettes or fanouts in data center and enterprise optical networks.

Advantages

This multimode OM4 cable offers improved bandwidth performance for short-reach applications and is manufactured with MPO connectors to support multi-fiber parallel links. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections without excess slack, and the blue outer jacket makes cable identification and routing easier in dense cabling installations. The pre-terminated design reduces installation time and the risk of connector contamination compared with field-terminated solutions.

How to use

Unpack the pre-terminated MPO-MPO patch cable and visually inspect connectors for any protective caps or visible contamination before installation. Install by aligning the MPO connector keying with the corresponding MPO adapter or trunk module and push until a positive latching is felt. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber. Secure the cable within racks or cable management to prevent stress on the connectors and to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Use in environments with MPO-compatible infrastructure and ensure MPO polarity and fiber mapping match connected equipment. For optimal performance, clean MPO connector endfaces before mating and avoid tight bends; follow industry best practices for multimode fiber handling and maintain proper slack to accommodate re-racking or equipment changes.
