helos cavo patch in fibra ottica OS2 Uniboot LC/LC duplex 9/125 µm, LSZH, 2,0 mm, giallo, 3 m (373366)

The Helos LWL Patch Cable Uniboot LC/LC Duplex 9/125µm OS2 3.0m in black is a single-mode fiber patch cable designed for optical network connections that require low attenuation and stable signal transmission. Its LC/LC duplex uniboot connectors provide a compact footprint suitable for dense patch panels and active equipment ports. The 3.0 meter length and black jacket make it appropriate for indoor installations where a neat, professional appearance is required.

Advantages

This single-mode 9/125µm OS2 cable offers low insertion loss and reduced back reflection for long-distance or high-performance links. The uniboot duplex design keeps the two fibers together in a single compact jacket, simplifying routing and saving space in racks and cabinets. The black outer jacket provides a discreet look and resists typical indoor environmental conditions when installed correctly.

Suitable for

• Data center patching between panels and switches
• Fiber backbone links within buildings
• Telecommunications equipment connections
• Server room and network cabinet fiber management

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode, 9/125 µm
• Optical class: OS2
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex uniboot
• Cable length: 3.0 m
• Jacket color: black
• Configuration: duplex (two fibers in one jacket)

How to use

Route the uniboot patch cable between the two optical ports ensuring bend radii are not exceeded and that the cable is secured in cable management guides. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC adapter or equipment port until a tactile click confirms connection. For best performance, keep connectors capped until use and clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive pulling forces. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use, and schedule regular inspection and cleaning of connector end-faces to maintain low insertion loss and reliable network performance.
